Mark Cuthbertson, PA-C

Mark is Dr. Phillips’ right hand and partner in helping patients remain active. With a 10 year history as a teacher in the Jefferson County public school system, Mark is uniquely skilled at educating patients about their diagnoses, explaining procedures, and guiding patients through the perioperative process. Since graduating from Oklahoma School of Community Medicine he has been committed to the field of orthopedics, honing a specialized skill set in managing hip and knee conditions over his many years in practice. Mark and his wife grew up on the Front Range and enjoy attending the theatre, hiking the Colorado trails, and visiting local breweries. However, his happiest place outside of work remains the soccer pitch.

Carolyn Garbo, MS, ATC, LAT

Upon visiting Mark or Dr. Phillips in the office, patients are typically met first by Carolyn’s friendly smile. Carolyn attended Southern Illinois University, where she received her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training. She went on to pursue a master’s degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida. She has over 20 years of clinical experience with orthopedic patients, and with that she brings a wealth of knowledge surrounding the management of hip and knee pathology. Carolyn truly enjoys helping patients get back to doing what they love. She is the team’s point person for patient questions and ensuring a smooth consultation process in the office. In her spare time Carolyn enjoys hiking with her dogs, cooking, playing golf and watching college sports (Go Gators!).

Taylor Weber, ATC, LAT

Taylor is a Boulder County native who received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Washington State University. She has an impressive background in a diverse array of settings, ranging from providing sideline coverage and hands-on treatment to collegiate athletes to coordinating orthopedic care in both trauma and outpatient environments. Taylor has a genuine passion for ensuring patients feel heard and understood. She is the team go-to for coordinating appointments, communicating with other providers and ensuring a seamless treatment process. When not in the clinic, you can find Taylor sewing, reading, or enjoying the Colorado outdoors with her husband and two dogs.

Virginia, Surgery Scheduler

Not only does Virginia keep Dr. Phillips’ schedule, she takes charge of the perioperative process ensuring a smooth experience for everyone involved. Embarking on surgery can feel overwhelming, but Virginia’s calm demeanor and attention to detail put patients and caregivers at ease. She is a Longmont native and, with over a decade of experience in coordinating patient care, an invaluable asset to Dr. Phillips’ team. Outside of work, Virginia’s world revolves around her son and family. She enjoys being outdoors, playing with her two kittens and drawing.
